Today I am thankful for my work. I don't always love my job (I often dislike it quite intensely!) and I am by no means a career oriented person - I'd give up work to be a stay-at-home mom in a heartbeat; but I am well aware that I am very lucky to have the flexible job that I have, with a "boss" who happens to be my dad.

Got to love working for a flexible boss - your dad ...my husband. I am so thankful I can be a stay at home mum for the time being.One week to go with Nablopomo and your 30 days of thanks.

It's nice when we can appreciate those things that maybe aren't so perfect for us, but we *still* know we are lucky to have at all.

I often feel very conflicted about my job... It's not really what I want to be doing and often it's far from challenging, but it pays well, it's low stress, I get lots of leave and my colleagues are mostly lovely. I would love to be self-employed or at least have more flexi hours, but I feel churlish complaining about my job just because it's not challenging or my dream job!
