It dawned on me yesterday that Rox is getting married next month! How scary is that?! I get butterflies in my tummy just thinking of it.
The wedding is going to be beautiful. Rox and Jono have organised everything entirely on their own and I couldn't be more proud of them. They have spent hours planning, organising, sussing out venues and suppliers, poring over guest lists and menus and generally working very hard. I've been more than happy to watch from the sidelines. I was determined from the get-go that this ceremony should be about them, that it should reflect who they are and what they believe in and it's going to be just that.
Rox chose her bridesmaids very wisely and these three lovely girls have been so supportive and helpful, she couldn't have asked for more. (Although she might think differently after the Hen's Night they're planning for her....... ;-))
The venue is perfect, the dress is simply gorgeous, the bridesmaids are going to look lovely, it's going to be small and intimate and the bride and groom are going to be surrounded by the people that they love and who matter the most to them. Sounds like a recipe for a perfect wedding. Now if we can just command the weather to be kind....
